I just got a new house and the best thing about it is the HVAC system. The funny thing is that I didn’t even notice how nice the HVAC system was until I started living in the home. When I bought the house I didn’t hear anything about the HVAC system and I didn’t see anything besides a smart thermostat. In my old house I had a smart thermostat so I knew that it was nice, but I wasn’t really excited. When I turned the thermostat on I expected to hear a loud furnace but instead I realized that the house had heated floors. I don’t know how I didn’t know more about the HVAC system when I bought the house but I was very happy with my discovery. I don’t know if you have ever felt heated floors, but they are amazing. The coolest thing about heated flooring is that it heats the entire house and it is very quiet. In my old house I had a very loud furnace and the only thing in the house that was louder than furnace was my AC unit. I sort of got used to the sound of my HVAC system and sometimes people would have to yell over the AC just to be heard. I would sometimes use my fireplace because the other systems, like the furnace, would just be too loud. Another problem I had with my old HVAC system was the fact that it was central heating and cooling and it really didn’t warm up the entire house. If your HVAC technician ever talks to you about heated flooring you should really learn more.
