Keeping the house heated

Keeping my house warm in the Wintertide is not a simple task. The house that I am living in right now is just temporary, but it is what I call condo for now, so I try to keep it as comfortable as possible. It is a basement apartment, plus I hardly pay anything to live here, so it is genuinely pretty great. My landlord lives in the home above me, plus she is entirely awesome. She does everything that she can to ensure that I love living in her apartment, plus I genuinely care about it. She literally asks myself and others every month if there is something that needs fixed in the apartment. Whenever there genuinely is something to fix, she gets it fixed as soon as possible. The only issue that I have with living here is heating. It is not simple to stay warm down here for some reason. I purchased a area furnace last year to see if it would help keep my kitchen warmer at evening, plus it absolutely did. It raises the temperature about fifteen degrees. I used it all last winter, plus I was super happy to use it this winter, although I broke it when I went to get it out of storage. I have storage tote that I keep my Wintertide things in when it is warm. I went to get my area furnace out, plus I dropped it on the cement floor in the storage area. It dented it pretty bad, but the worst space was that oil started pouring out of it. I have never seen that much oil comes out of an area furnace before. It was quite disappointing. I think I will end up buying another one because it entirely did help keep my kitchen much warmer.
