When our spouse & I got home after being sent home from the zone controlled Heating & Air Conditioning of our respective offices on the same afternoon, all of us were nervous.
Of course, we’d been hearing about the virus for a few weeks & were sort of hoping it would be 1 of those things that petered out once it got here.
That had happened before so all of us were hopeful that this might happen again. But things progressed swiftly to where all of us quickly were having to figure out just how all of us were going to deal with this situation. And it was just us trying to work remotely from the central air conditioning of our home. There were the kids as well. Three kids trying to do remote schooling while their parents tried to figure how to do their jobs at home wasn’t a great scenario. But it just was something that all of us simply had to deal with. Truthfully, I wasn’t so sure how we’d all get along being cooped up inside the heating & cooling of our home all afternoon. At first, it was challenging finding a rhythm & a structure to our afternoons. But what I found so remarkable was that all of us all felt as though all of us were in it together. There was a real sense of looking out for 1 another. Well, it took nearly 18 weeks until all of us got a opportunity at a new normal but all of us came out a family more connected. So I wanted us to remember that achievement with an Heating & Air Conditioning bonus.
