Every one of us don’t live way up north nor way down south.
And our weather sort of mirrors that middle ground.
While I’d adore to say that all of us have this perfect four seasons, that’s not accurate at all. There is a fall & a Spring here but the duration of each is excruciatingly short. That means all of us get weeks more Summer & winter. That’s not the worst thing in the world but I’d sure rather have more fall & Spring weather. Thankfully, all of us have some great heating & cooling equipment that takes care of us all year. And what’s even better is that it’s all done by the heat pump. Whether it’s the heating during our Winter or cooling us off all summer, all of us can count on the heat pump. When all of us first moved here, this location was our first introduction to what a serious Winter was all about. I grew up & lived our life down south where the Heating & Air Conditioning conversation didn’t stray much past a conversation about the central air conditioning. So when I got here, I wasn’t so sure that the heat pump would be enough for this sort of winter. I figured a Winter with any amount of snow & ice would need to come with a gas furnace. But to our amazement, the heat pump was more than enough when it came to heating our home. The Winter in this new home is quite cozy & pleasant. And of course, the heat pump handles the heat & humidity of Summer adore a champ. I never have to worry about coming home to a hot, sticky new home when I guess that the heat pump is on the job.
