While I love to save some money, I’m not a reckless idiot either
I sure don’t mind one bit when I can save some money. That’s something that is always alright with me. And I’ll go to great lengths in order to save that money. However, value is always the overriding factor. That was something I had to balance recently when I upgraded the HVAC equipment in our home. The HVAC technician telling us that the HVAC unit was at the end was not surprising. In fact, I had already been preparing by starting a savings account for the new HVAC equipment. Still, I wasn’t super excited about just going overboard on the new residential HVAC. When I first started doing some research on new heating and cooling equipment, it was clear right away that so much had changed. There was just such an evolution in HVAC equipment from when I originally put my HVAC unit in a quarter of a century ago. That’s a long time and the HVAC technology has come a long way. Thanks to the HVAC contractor, I was able to get the right amount of HVAC technology and am very pleased with the new residential HVAC. The quality heating and air this new HVAC unit delivers is so impressive and I’m glad that I spent the money. So when I encountered the HVAC equipment not working exactly right, I was with a buddy of mine. He immediately suggested several possibilities and volunteered to take a look at the HVAC unit. While I love to save some money, I’m not a reckless idiot either. It was a thanks but no thanks to that offer. I called the HVAC professionals and they were out within the hour. It was actually just a minor adjustment and they didn’t even charge me for the HVAC service call.
