Never ever wait until the height of Summer to have your air conditioning system taken care of.
This was something that I had to learn the hard way.
When I thought of having heating and air conditioning two and a half, I thought I could have them at any time, however it really is best if you have your heating system serviced in the fall right before winter, and if you have air conditioning system service in the spring right before the summer. The idea is to have your heating and cooling system taken care of for any of the hottest or coldest seasons to arrive. Well I had never taken care of my air conditioning system for that year. I mean since it was summer and it started getting hot I thought now would be a good time to go ahead and have my tune-ups done. Well obviously it was a good thing that I was going to have my heating and cooling system taken care of I should have done this much sooner. I had to learn this hard way because my way to schedule a heating and I see appointment all the HVAC businesses were booked up! Thankfully what I needed wasn’t right away service, and so I can wait although it would be an inconvenience. I ended up having to wait 3 weeks to have my service done on my air conditioner. At least once the AC service was said and didn’t have to worry about it for another year.
