But our confidence was so low, I absolutely figured that I would fail at that too
I never thought I would make it as a heating and a/c professional. I absolutely thought I would just fail in life as it was. As a kid, I could just see it. I would be in our 30s still living in our parent’s basement, portrayed as a loser, just appreciate they did on TV. Thankfully that nightmare never happened, however the reason I thought that way was because I was horrible at school. I was a D and F student. It was awful. I just couldn’t grasp most of the subjects past the basics. What I needed was someone to help guide myself and others rather than being left to fend for myself. I started condo school and our grades improved, although I still wasn’t a good student. When it came time to consider what future I would like. I thought about being a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional; My aunt is a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist, and he lived a quite comfortable life, and since I knew a/c specialists were consistently in demand, that would secure a job for myself and others in the future. But our confidence was so low, I absolutely figured that I would fail at that too. It didn’t help that when I first went to Heating, Ventilation, and A/C school, I started off with failing grades. However, I quickly was able to pick up the pace and become a much better student. I passed and became a certified a/c professional and then was hired by a local a/c supplier; Finally, I moved out into our own apartment, and I realized that I was really unbelievable at something, which was Heating, Ventilation, and A/C technology.
