If I was looking for the craziest extreme swings in weather, I sure found the spot.
Winter is harsh and frigid.
The Summer is harsh and hot. So I got a gas furnace for the frigid season & a good a/c device for the Summer months. In our house, the people I was with and I lean on the central a/c device when it comes to both heating the lakeside house & cooling the house, and you might assume that since Tom and I have to deal with such extremes in boiling & frigid that we had get a really nice fall & Spring. But really the best part of both fall & Spring are entirely short. For real, there have been years where Tom and I went from turning off the gas furnace to flipping on the a/c in a matter of a month or two. So it seems that we’re typically dealing with or preparing for Winter or summer. Tom and I are just now wrapping up the end of my Winter preparations. The Heating & Air Conditioning service on the gas furnace has been done. And I finished most of the lake house prep. There are a few more bundles of insulation to sit down in the attic however after that I am done. However, the next step is to protect the Heating & Air Conditioning cottage outside of the house. This is essentially the a/c device & I put a plastic shell over it to protect it from destruction during all the snow & ice.
