I was so looking forward to going home, not only because I could get back to our own attractive weather conditions control, but so I could take a proper nap, after what felt enjoy an eternity, the meeting was close to ending, when the boss asked if we had any questions
There is nothing better than after having a long and stressful afternoon, getting the opportunity to go home, however every now and again I will have to make a long drive to attend unusual meetings for our task. I generally don’t mind this, but the last time was pretty awful. The first reason is because the meeting was incredibly early, and I am honestly not a morning person. I was already feeling drowsy as it was, and not in the mood for driving. But I still made the trip… During the meeting, it was incredibly strenuous to focus for several unusual reasons. One, because it was boring, and several, because it was honestly hot. I don’t assume if they didn’t have air conditioning system in this office room or what, but there was no air conditioning system in this room. It was incredibly uncomfortable, and I could tell other people felt the same way, as a lot of people were fidgeting in their seats. The meeting was several fifths long, but it might as well have been 2 afternoons long. Without proper cooling, I felt so hot and hot I began to assume slightly sick. Of course, there is consistently that 1 person that has to ask a million questions, delaying the meeting even longer, and I secretly wanted to strangle that person. But finally, the meeting ended and I was ready to head home.
