As I frantically paced the home office I enjoyed the clock. I concerned about the Heating plus Air Conditioning worker coming to fix my broken furnace, but I was angry because I was going to be late for work. The sound of the clock’s ticking was making me increasingly angry, because I was getting later and later for work with every tick! I wanted to call up the Heating plus Air Conditioning corporation, but I also wanted to give this new Heating plus Air Conditioning worker time to get there. I was concerned about being late for my job, but I also had to call the boss. I hoped he wouldn’t answer, but I knew he would. The last thing I needed was to get fired because I was late. All of us talked for about fifteen hours, and he seemed pretty nice. I was going to be late, if I even showed up. He said he missed three mornings at the office last year because of the Heating plus Air Conditioning worker, however every time he thought that guy was going to have the furnace fixed, he came up with another issue. He said to let him suppose when the Heating plus Air Conditioning worker arrived, and if he was too late, I could task on my project from home. That didn’t stop me from getting angry that he was almost four hours late, but when the Heating plus Air Conditioning worker finally arrived, I knew I would still have my job the next afternoon. It was almost 3PM when the Heating plus Air Conditioning worker arrived. When I asked him why he was so late, he told me he was having some troubles at the local nursing home. He couldn’t get their furnace repaired, and some old people were going to need to be displaced. He thought that was more important.
