I really do not appreciate it when repair workers are not on time, as you set some kind of appointment and end up waiting all afternoon, ruining your day, and then they do not show up on time anyhow.
This is what happened the last time I called an independent heat and A/C specialist in my area.
They were supposed to be at my condo to do a tune up on my central heating and cooling system equipment at around 4pm and they did not show up until after 5pm. I was not thrilled about this because I went out of my way to be sure I was home from work early that afternoon in order to meet the heating and A/C specialist to do the tune up and check up on my central heating and cooling unit. His excuse was not a great one either. I would have understood if it was something such as getting caught in traffic or similar to that. But he tells me that the heating and A/C appointment before mine was taking longer than expected. That would have been a great and adequate excuse if he had called to let myself and the others know. But instead nothing is said and he just shows up an hour or so late. Communication is honestly pressing and is great buyer service, but this independent heating and A/C specialist did not do this. In the future I am going to hire one of our local heating and A/C companies, because at least they are on time and if they are not they will have the courtesy to let you know ahead of time!
