Fighting for some heat after an earthquake

I was on a ski trip when I got caught in an avalanche; I didn’t get found for 3 afternoons – the 3 most chilling as well as harrowing afternoons of our life! Several people lost their lives that afternoon, so I consider myself fortunate that I was so close to a ranger outpost when I heard the rumbling from above. I saw a way of snow barreling towards me, as well as raced into the small cabin, shuttering the doors as well as windows. Moments later the entire condo was engulfed, as well as I found myself buried under 20 feet of snow as well as ice, then escape was impossible, as well as the condo was cooling down more every moment. Since the whole building was buried under ice it felt appreciate I was inside an ice chest, as well as the tempts kept dropping. I found a small wood burning furnace, however there was no fuel for it! I had no option however to start smashing the wooden chairs into kindling, so I had something to burn in the furnace, but that didn’t work honestly well, either, because normally the furnace was collected to a stove pipe to funnel the smoke out of the cabin. This metal chimney also served to supply a steady crossbreeze of fresh air through the furnace, which kept the fire going. In other words, since the stovepipe was clogged, the furnace did not work honestly well. I burned little pieces of wood to keep myself from cold to death, although I basically had to sit right on top of the furnace to suppose any warmth. It was the scariest time of our life.
