The biggest issue with portable space heaters today is that they are so powerful! Sometimes they can get way too hot when running them all night in your bedroom while you are sleeping. I know there are several times where I have woken up in a sweat when I run my portable space heater because the room got way too hot. And this is even with setting the thermostat on it correctly. This is a flaw in the build of modern portable space heaters in my opinion and it should be addressed. Portable space heaters used to be weaker and only heat a small space in a room. But today’s portable space heaters can heat and entire room in minutes which would be a great thing if it would not over heat the place! I know I am not the only one who has experienced this issue when running portable space heaters in the bedroom at night when sleeping. I have found that the only way to avoid the overheating is by turning the thermostat on the portable space heater down lower than what you want the temperature to be. It makes the room a little chillier at first, but as the night goes on with the super power of today’s portable space heaters you can get warm and all will work good at that point. This advice I am giving will hopefully be of good help to those who may be reading this and having the same issues with the portable space heater as I have in modern times.
