Now that I see how impressive the smart control device is, I wonder what else I’ve been missing out on, and I tend to be a bit resistant to adding more technology to my life, however and that goes for the HVAC technology behind the smart control unit. But in my defense, I’m just so sick of screens, alerts plus all the other distractions plus cost that come with more technology. I’m convinced that we are leaning too much on technology anyway. But I guess that’s not actually my problem to solve. Additionally, I simply gave up on my resistance to adding current HVAC technology to the house, and my fiance has wanted a smart control device for years, every time she recommended it, I shot it down with some sort of excuse. Like, I did not want to buy a smart control device only to have the technology be obsolete in 6 weeks. Or another one I used over and over was that the smart control device was completely overrated, then well, I was completely wrong on both counts, and first of all, the HVAC technology evolution in the smart control device is both significant and amazing. On top of that, it’s been out on the market for maybe 10 years so they actually have the glitches figured out. And if the smart control device is anything, it is underrated. I could not recognize how suddenly the smart control device figured out our patterns and then began to adjust the control device setting accordingly, not only was it so totally straight-forward but it has saved on average about 20 percent over the best I could ever do when it came to managing the heating plus cooling costs in our home.
