My elderly aunt called me the other day because she wanted me to check her air filter for her.
I always do things for her whenever she asks me if it’s at all possible, because she has helped me out a lot over the years.
Whenever I was growing up, my aunt used to come over and take care of us whenever my mom was sick, which was a lot of the time. So I owe a lot to my aunt. I always try to do everything I can to make her life easier these days, even though sometimes she makes it hard to do that. She is a very stubborn old lady, that’s for sure. Sometimes I wonder how she has even lasted this long! Maybe that’s because she is as stubborn as she is, though. Anyway, the other day, I went over to her house to check out the air filter to see if she needed to have it changed. She said that she thought that the air quality in her house wasn’t very good and she wanted me to check it out for her. I went over there and sure enough, the air filter was completely covered in cat hair and dog fur. I was surprised that it looked so bad because I had just changed the air filter not too long before that. I had warned my aunt that she needed to get rid of some of her cats but she just wouldn’t listen to me. She said that there was no way that she was going to get rid of any of her cats, but that I needed to get her air quality back up to speed! I don’t know what I’m going to do with her.
