I really can’t believe that I am living in my parents’ basement again.
I am going to have to buy a ductless mini split heating and cooling system to put down here because the indoor air quality in the basement is terrible.
I guess they probably never really thought about the fact that they might have a grown child living in their basement again one day. I guess I’m a little bit of a disappointment, to tell you the truth. Becoming an unemployed art professor is not exactly how I ever thought my life would be going at this point. I am almost 40 years old. I’m not married, I don’t have any kids yet, and now I don’t have a job or a house! Things are not really going all that well for me, that’s for sure. And now, to top everything off, I’m going to have to buy a new HVAC unit so that I can live comfortably down in my parents’ basement. The whole thing is just beyond terrible, if you ask me. My parents are being really great about it but my siblings are just awful. They all think that I’m trying to mooch off of my parents but that’s not what I am doing at all. If there was anything else that I could do right now, I would! The last thing that I want to be doing is living with my parents at this point in my life. I know that it will all turn around eventually but I am pretty miserable about it right now. Hopefully, the new HVAC system I get installed will make the air quality better down here in the basement.
