I would not ever be able to live down in the southern part of the country if I did not have a great air conditioning system. My family and I went down for a long weekend the other week and I noticed that some of the people and businesses did not have their air conditioning running. Even though the weather was in the high 70s, no one seemed to be bothered about it but me. I guess they don’t use the air conditioning all that much unless it is in the middle of the summer. The people who live down there all year long are probably just used to the temperatures, but I’m sure not. I don’t think that I would be able to stand it for very long at all if I lived down there. I don’t understand how some people can live in hot climates with high humidity and no central air conditioning. I’m just not made that way, I guess. If I ever have to move down to the southern part of the country, there is going to have to be a very good central air conditioning system in place before I move or it is just not going to happen. I know that lots of people really love living down there in the south but it’s just not my cup of tea. The last time we went down to visit it was about 75 degrees one day and some of the people were saying how nice and cool it was. I didn’t feel that way at all, though. I thought that it was so hot that I needed to stay inside in the A/C!
