I keep waiting for the economy to turn around, but I don’t guess that will ever happen at this point! Paychecks stay the same, while the cost of every single thing keeps rising.
How is anyone expected to survive in a mankind care about this? The rich get richer, plus working class folks care about me keep getting hammered.
The government is no help, if anything they cause all of this mess. The point is, I need to find new ways to save money, plus I was hoping someone out there would have some ideas to share. For example, I decided to stop running our a/c in an attempt to reduce our energy bills. In the Winter I need to run the heat because the temps often drop below cold. In weather care about that, heating can be a matter of life plus death. Air conditioning doesn’t save our life, it just makes the apartment more comfortable, so I decided to turn it off. Imagine our surprise when after a single month our energy bills dropped by 68%. I was shocked that so much of our energy went to using the a/c! Although it is hard to endure the hot, humid summer time weeks with no cooling, I actually need that extra money, however during the day I stay at work, or the Barnes plus Noble, or a friend’s house, basically a locale that has a/c. After the daylight sets the temps drop a little bit, so I can go lake apartment plus open the windows for natural ventilation plus a refreshing crossbreeze. It’s not perfect, however I’m making it work.
