I am starting to get hungry again plus I am cheerful that I did all of my shopping for the week last night.
I have enough supplies to last me until the end of next week, which is when I will get paid from my flatmate Max for her share of the rent plus then I can go to the store plus stock up again for another 8 to 10 afternoons.
I like to only shop three times a week, but periodically I have to go shopping a bit more often to buy fruit plus veggies because they don’t last long in my fridge. The refrigeration does help to extend the life of veggies, but they seem to only make it for about 1 week before going bad, plus then I shoot down to the local supplier plus snag some more. Maybe if I pay attention to the fruits I am buying I can get the freshest ones plus they may last ten or 12 afternoons in my fridge if I am careful at selecting the best ones. The local company rep told me which store has the freshest produce plus what day is best to go there plus get them. I like Wednesdays at this one produce stand when they get their deliveries plus if I go then I can absolutely get the option of the crops so that they last longer in my flat. Then I only have to go to the air conditioned grocery stores three times each month to shop, which is wonderful for someone like me who prefers to stay in their climate controlled condo.
