I was riding my bike last night with a friend from Argentina around sundown.
My friend and I passed a local buddy of mine named Max, who I honestly don’t talk to much, but after riding with my friend I ran into her again.
Max and I met near the end of the paseo plus I started talking to her plus found out she is from Ukraine. Max is honestly quiet plus cautious, like most of the people I’ve met here, plus I would be scared too. My friend and I walked for about 30 minutes plus just chatted some more plus she is a honestly cool person. The Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier where Max works is near my flat plus I will have to go there today to get a hot water heater. I’m going to see if Max wants to meet up again because I like quiet people like this that you have to pry conversations out of instead of yakkers that wear you out. Our water heating component is shot plus it needs to be substituted so I will buy one today plus line up an Heating plus Air Conditioning technician to come out tomorrow or this weekend plus install the unit. Then my Argentinian buddy and I will be sitting in the catbird seat again with hot water in this flat, which is something that my buddy and I have gone without for nearly two months. I can’t wait to have a working propane water boiler once again so that I can take hot showers plus scrub my clothes plus dishes again in steaming hot water. I guess it will absolutely be a few more afternoons though so I just need to chill out for a bit longer.
