It is almost time for me to bust out my little fan number two.
I lead an honestly simple life now but my simplicity still can’t escape the heat that is coming very soon, so having my little fan trained on me as I work is a wonderful thing for keeping it simple instead of running the fancy main unit.
I told my friend Max last night that I am working about 20 hours a week plus she couldn’t guess it, however Max and I are going to have lunch soon plus I am going to tell her the secrets of working part time. The Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier where I work pays me quite well to come in a few hours a week to do inventory, plus I also have three or four other income streams from heating plus cooling blogging work. I’ve been working this way since leaving the 50 hour workweek at the corporate jail back in 1999. If I was still building the Heating plus Air Conditioning systems like I was doing I never would have lived overseas or gotten into the performing arts as much as I did. There is just no time or energy left when you work a fulltime job plus own an immense house plus a lot of toys like I did. I worked as a cooling tech all day at the office plus then I would drive my big air conditioned activities car to my apartment for 30 minutes then work more when I got to the apartment with my chores. My whole life seemed to be consumed by work plus I grew exhausted of it, so when I was forty I left it behind.
