I could hear the hot water boiling.

I woke up this morning, and I could hear the hot water boiling.

I turned the faucet on, and the water was spurting out instead of pouring.

The water was steaming as it came out of the faucet. I woke my husband up and told him we had a problem with the boiler. It was overworking, and we had boiling water, and not just hot water. He was tired of dealing with our antique boiler. He called the HVAC company, but it wasn’t to have the boiler repaired. He wanted them to come to the house and give us a quote for the installation of a new ductless HVAC system. When you have a boiler, you don’t need ductwork. The heated water is forced into water pipes that supply the house with warm air. The heating coming off the water pipes is forced out of the baseboard heaters, through small fans inside the baseboard heaters. The HVAC technician showed up about noon. My husband had already turned the boiler off, and our water was cool enough to get a shower right before he showed up. He told the HVAC technician exactly what HVAC system he wanted, and the SEER he wanted for the ductless HVAC system. Once we were told how much it was going to cost, he told the HVAC technician to get it ordered for us. We went to the bank to take the money out, and then we headed to the home center to get an electric hot water heater. Without the boiler, we had no hot water, and my husband had thought of everything.
