I finally asked my family for a gift card to a hardware store this year for christmas.
They keep pushing me to tell them what I want instead of just accepting whatever gifts that they want to give me themselves.
But the thing is I absolutely appreciate a lot of the homemade gifts that my kids & my wife make for me. I don’t care if it’s just a picture I can put on my wall at work, it makes me feel enjoyed by my family when they feel enough to make something for me like this. It’s easily nice for them to put all of that love & affection into something that they have to make themselves. But this year my wife insisted on a correct gift as well. When they asked me what I wanted, I said to just get me a gift card for the hardware store. Then I could go to the hardware store after the holiday & get something that has on sale. That’s when I found the ceiling fans that were 50% off after christmas, then ceiling fans are easily good at recirculating the air as your air conditioner or boiler is running. I wanted to get modern ceiling fans for our condo because the ones my buddy and I have right now are all partially broken. Ceiling fans are a good investment because it’ll help transport the air around the condo when we are using the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system. If you don’t absolutely have the best ventilation system like my buddy and I do ourselves, using ceiling fans can be a good supplement.
