I have a dog that’s certainly spoiled. He certainly prefers the air conditioning. He’s a certainly smart dog too because he has learned when he wants the air conditioning turned on if he thinks it’s too sizzling in the house. You want to know what is crazy? My dog and I have the same temperature preferences! I mean I do not know for sure I cannot ask him what exact degree he prefers the temperature down to. But I have observed that he seems happiest when I have the temperature set in the house to 76 degrees, which also happens to be about my perfect temperature as well. So there was this one time that it was sizzling outside and I was starting to sweat due to the heat, and my dog had come over to me and he looked at me and he was uncomfortable and he was panting like he was hot. He looked at me and then looked at the control machine and meowed at me… Just once, but one easy, legitimately polite meow. It was as if he was asking me to turn on the air conditioning for him. So I said to him I know friend I’m sizzling too. Then I went over there and turned on the air conditioning. As soon as I did he came over and laid on my lap and he started purring. My buddy and I both felt better as my buddy and I enjoyed the cool air of the AC unit. I would never feel that something like air conditioner would be something my dog and I would bond over however that was exactly what was happening. The two of us have typically had an appreciation for unbelievable indoor air.
