I consistently like going to our local thrift shop, you never really think what you are going to find there, or what kind of deals you can discover on old used things, however i once got a bunch of heating plus a/c products at a thrift shop! And would you believe that they all worked nice as new? I mean, these things were dirt cheap compared to retail value! For instance, I got a space heating system for 10 bucks! Yes, that’s right, a 70 dollar value for 10 bucks! And it works perfect, but this space heating system has been heating our home office for the last year with no issues what so ever as if I obtained it brand new at a hardware store or something! I also managed to buy a portable a/c device there for 50 bucks.
That in itself is a 2 to three hundred dollar value! And again, care about the space heater, the portable a/c worked just as nice as if I obtained it brand new from the store… Some afternoon, these thrift shops are going to catch on to what they’re doing. I hope that doesn’t happen, however eventually, there will be someone that really knows what they are doing, plus these gems will not be so cheap. It is obvious they didn’t test the space heating system or the portable a/c unit; Because if they did, they would have not priced these things so low, however until someone wises up, I will visit the thrift shops every weekend plus see what else I can find!
