My living room sometimes gets a little cold even with my central heating and air conditioning system’s heater running.
So what I decided to do instead of racking up my electric bill by cranking up the heating was to go out and buy a portable space heater.
With a portable space heater I can heat up my living room without the need of cranking the thermostat and running up the electric bill. Plus with the fact that the portable space heaters of today are much more powerful than the portable space heaters of yesterday, I can actually heat the whole living room with just one single portable space heater instead of having to buy a few of them. That is how it would have been if this was 20 years ago and I wanted to heat up my living room with space heaters. And by having all of those portable space heaters running I would end up jacking up my electric bill anyhow. So it would defeat the purpose of it all in the first place. I am just so happy that modern heating and air conditioning technology has made it so the portable space heaters are way more powerful today than they used to be. The same goes for portable air conditioning systems as well. But that is a whole other story about the portable air conditioning system that I bought to cool off my living room during the summer time months of the year. I will talk about all of that at a later date.
