HVAC Responsibilities Need to Go to the Top of the To Do List

I simply could not get through a day without my daily reminders. With the advent of the smart phone, I even have alarms go off to alert me to a task. I get my youngest kid to program the important stuff into my phone. If I tried to do it on my own, I’d never get anything else done. The phone actually only augments all the lists I carry with me. I have one of those little notebooks I can carry around in my front pocket. It has lists of all my day specific chores and responsibilities. One of my sole duties is to look after the HVAC. Somehow, I became the lone handler of all things heating and cooling. I make the appointments to have the HVAC tech to come out. We like to have our heating and cooling system maintained at least twice a year. I think it’s important because both sides of the heating and cooling system work very hard throughout the year. So, they both need to be inspected and serviced so they’re ready to go when their respective season starts. The air filter is also mine to be accountable for. This I have a hard time remembering so it goes into the phone as an alarm alert. The air filter needs to be changed at least every 30 days. Every HVAC system must have completely unobstructed airflow for it to operate at its most optimum level. A clogged and dirty air filter puts an unnecessary load on the HVAC system. Eventually, this can lead to irreparable damage. This is why the alarm on my phone goes of like a siren every month.
