I recently moved homes to live up north in the country.
The house I had moved into was not equipped with anything.
I pretty much had to fill the entire house with everything. The house at the time was only a structure sitting on a piece of land. It was nice to be able to choose my own products in my house as I wanted. I even needed to choose which type of HVAC system I had wanted. I started by figuring out what kind of heating system I was going to have in place. I ultimately decided on installing a boiler into my house. I feel that a lot of homes still have a boiler as the heating system. I chose this because this system provides heated water or stream for distribution into my home. It seems as if this way I would collect some more moisture in my home during the wintertime. I know that using a furnace can cause the air in a home to become rather dry sometimes. The other reason I chose a boiler system is so I could directly connect it to radiant flooring. The idea of radiant flooring is that there are pipes that run beneath the floor. Through these pipes, runs hot water. The hot water can comf directly from the boiler that I had put in. It made my life much easier by having one system put in but providing heat for my house in two different ways. This was an ideal heating system for my home since I hate being cold.
