My husband and I love to go on road trips.
It is a great time for us to get away from work and just relax together.
We don’t have kids so it is a little bit easier for us than other couples we know that would have to get a babysitter or send their kids off to the grandparents house. We try to go on a road trip just about every year and normally we can make that happen. This we decided to take two weeks off work and explore regions of the country that we have never been to before. We have a couple of things we have to take care of before the trip like packing, arranging hotels and getting a rental car. Normally we would just take our personal vehicle but the air conditioning hasn’t been running properly lately so we decided it would be better to rent than burn up in the heat without a working cooling system. So I called the rental car company to secure the car and to make sure it had working air conditioning. The woman on the phone laughed at me when I asked this question and she said yes all of their cars had working A/C. When we picked up the rental car and got on the road we realized what we were missing out on without the cooling system in our own car. We decided we would get the air conditioning fix as soon as we got back from our road trip. Now I am excited to drive our old car again!
