My hands are finally warm again as I type away on my old keyboard.
I just listened to my mom’s voice messages and really miss the old gal.
I think I’ll give her a call tomorrow evening and chew the fat for a bit. I want to see how she is doing and what is going on in her world with my stepdad. I am going to maybe go back there this summer to work on a rental property and try to lock in $700 a month in income from it. I manage the property for my HVAC rep brother, who is living on the other side of the planet, and I think I can raise the rent and get a good chunk each month for managing the climate controlled houses. There is the main house and a small apartment house next to it, and I think I can get $700 for my cut, which would pay my rent and utilities each month over here where I am living overseas. Then I could work some furnace installations at the local business and pay for my food and spending money each month with no problem. I will do this for another six years and then I will get about $1000 a month in SS benefits, if they are still around! I may start up my own fireplace sales business if I am motivated and do that part time while I play music in my band and ride out the rest of my years in style. I hope you are having a good day!
