My band called Bad Endings may have a bad ending soon if my bandmate doesn’t open up and start communicating with me.
- We made some killer songs recently, but his lack of communication and motivation to push us forward is eroding the band from the inside out.
It can’t be one person trying to communicate and the other all clammed up all of the time afraid to say anything. It is just like a marriage and marriages don’t last when one person keeps everything inside. I will just move on to another musician if that is the case. My heating corp has a few guitar players and they are open to playing with me, but I will try to talk to this knucklehead first and see if I can shake some sense into him while we work on a duct cleaning job next week. If he is still too afraid to talk then we will have to go our separate ways, which is fine with me if that is what happens. I’m tired of working on heat pumps and trying to work on our band while he just sits at home and stares at his air purifier thinking how bad his life is. My life isn’t much different than his yet I am not all stuck in my mind afraid to talk to anybody, that isn’t how life works if you want to be successful. I can get my zone control expert musician friend to play music with me in air conditioned clubs and be just fine with that for the rest of my life.
