Moving without air conditioner

During the summer time of 2017, my property owner told me that someone was buying the house I was renting and that I had to vacate the property in 30 nights.

I was so upset because I enjoyed that house! I found a new location a few blocks away and decided to go ahead and start the moving process.

Packing a beach house you have lived in for 10 years is no straight-forward job. I was able to round up a few friends and get everything boxed up and moved over. About half way through the move, the power went out at the new house I was moving in to. I had intentionally set the AC to a low temperature because I knew that we would be moving in and out of the house and that the door would be open. When the power went out, the air conditioner went with it. Every one of us were furious! Moving heavy furniture and boxes without air conditioner sounded care about an terrible idea, however my friends and I were already committed and got the job done. Once we had finished, I took all the people out for a round of cold drinks. I do not request moving without air conditioner in a overheated climate in the middle of the summer! The next day, I found out that the power was out because the previous leaseholder had not paid the last utility bill and that my transfer was busy for the following day.
