My gas furnace won't turn on again!

Six weeks ago our hubby called the Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier and had them come to the beach house and do our annual gas furnace repair and repair check.

The Heating, Ventilation and A/C contractor told us that everything looked great and he gave us the year’s supply of air filters that is section of our repair agreement.

Three weeks ago, the two of us had to call the Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier. Although the two of us had been told that our gas furnace was laboring well, it refused to start. The people I was with and I had just had our first freeze and the two of us decided to turn on the gas furnace so the two of us could get some heat. The gas furnace ran for various minutes and quit running. There was an different smell of burning coming from the air vents so the two of us left the beach house and I called the Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier from the car. I didn’t guess what to tell him other than that the gas furnace stopped running and it smelled prefer something was burning. He told us that he would be there in about fifteen minutes. The people I was with and I sat in the vehicle until the Heating, Ventilation and A/C contractor arrived. When he showed up, he told us that he couldn’t find anything wrong with the gas furnace. He turned up the thermostat and it responded. He did find some paper inside the one air vent. I was genuinely worried, but the two of us went ahead and went into the house. This week, the same thing happened again. I’m not glad with the Heating, Ventilation and A/C contractor. I’m hoping he will finally find something that will tell me why the gas furnace quits laboring and after that the two of us get an odor of something burning.
