Sometimes, it’s hard for me to find things to be grateful for when it comes to my job.
I mean, of course I feel grateful to be making a paycheck every week, but there are so many other ways I would rather be making a living. Suffice to say, I don’t have much of a choice but to stick with this job for now. There are a couple perks I can think of, however. It only takes me 20 minutes to get to work, which isn’t much of a commute. Sometimes, I will drive in just a little early to enjoy another perk of my job. There is this really nice coffee shop just across the street! Obviously, the coffee and the food they offer is great, otherwise I wouldn’t go there, but there’s something else great about it. They really care about keeping their customers warmed up or cooled off depending on the time of the year. They have an excellent climate control system installed, and as a result, the coffee shop is beyond comfortable! As much as I love to spend my weekday mornings there at the coffee shop drinking my coffee and enjoying the warmth of the heating system in the wintertime, it makes me all the more reluctant to go across the street and clock in to work! I feel so cozy and content thanks to the coffee shop’s HVAC system and the HVAC unit that we have at work cannot compare to it! I have been tempted more than once to enjoy the coffee shop’s climate control for as long as I wish and then drive right back home!
