We are now building our forever house with a geothermal HVAC system

While I have never been exactly what you would call adventurous, that is not the reason I have stayed put right in the place where I grew up.

I guess I simply love where I live. I’ve lived in the same place for my entire life within a 30 mile radius. Of course, I have been on getaways elsewhere in the world. I care about the South, too, of course. I love the sun but, I could never genuinely live there. I really love long winters made cozy by enjoyable Heating from a good furnace. The snow in addition to the freezing cold are something that I could never genuinely do without. My husband is the same way but he’s from the South. The two of us met in school. He came up here to go to school and I was able to drive to campus from my parents home. My husband fell in love with me, with the area, with the people, and with the culture. It was as though the Southern fell right off of him when he moved here. I couldn’t know how quickly he embraced all that goes with winter. From the absolute beginning, he was all over winter preparations. The Heating system, our oil furnace, was professionally maintained by a licensed Heating and Air Conditioning tech. My husband really likes to watch and also to ask questions about how the Heating and Air Conditioning proposal works. In fact, both of us both have been doing quite a bit of research on Heating and air conditioning systems lately. The two of us are in the early stages of planning our forever home. Our youngsters are out of our house now, and so we have started downsizing. The new lake house both of us are building will have geothermal Heating and Air Conditioning in it for heating and cooling. This Heating and Air Conditioning system that we’re getting is going to be a bit more overpriced upfront but, the utility savings will last us for over 30 years. This will be our forever house.
