I hope that they take my opinion to heart and have a serious talk with that man about his approach when he is speaking to homeowners and customers
Did you ever experienced a time when someone was speaking to you as if you were a child? But of course when you were younger I know that happened, however, as an adult it can be quite frustrating when someone talks to you that way! This was the case when I had a local heating and a/c business to come out to do a routine tune-up and service last week. I am sure that he comes across people who are completely clueless when it comes to any sort of home maintenance and repair, although I am not one of those people. At first, I thought he assumed, because I was a woman, that I would not understand the simplest of things when it came to my heating and cooling unit, however, then it became obvious that he just felt I was incompetent in general. I bought my place on my own plus I have kept it up for the last six years, so I’m not unfamiliar with many of the things that need to be done. I hire an HVAC business to come out to do the actual tune-up of my HVAC system because I don’t want to overlook something that could cause a breakdown. Normally I have no problem with this company but they hired this young guy who seems to believe that he knows everything and that I, as the homeowner, know nothing. As soon as he left, I made a quick call to their office to lodge a complaint about how he spoke to me plus I also made sure to go online and give them a poor rating so that other homeowners would not request that person. I hope that they take my opinion to heart and have a serious talk with that man about his approach when he is speaking to homeowners and customers. If they don’t, they may find that other people believe the same way and nothing is worse than a lot of people leaving a terrible review of you online.
