This is probably the most disappointing Christmas that I have ever experienced.
It would have been fine if it weren’t for my heating system failing.
When I was asked what I wanted for Christmas, I told everyone that I wanted money. I was planning on buying a few things for my house, but I wanted to pick them out, so I asked for cash. I ended up getting a couple of hundred dollars in cash, and I was very excited. I spent the holidays with my family, and when I came back home, I instantly realized that my house was very cold. I never adjust the thermostat when I leave, so my house should have been just as warm as when I am there. When I checked the temperature, it said that my house was nearly 40 degrees. Obviously, there was something wrong with my heating system. Sadly, the only extra money that I had was the cash that I just received for the holidays. I told people that I wanted to use the money to get somethings for my house, but I wasn’t thinking of the heating system. However, I needed a working heating system, so I called the HVAC technician to come to fix my heating system. The HVAC technician arrived quickly, fixed my heating system, and handed me the bill. My heating system was back in order, but I blew through nearly all of my money trying to fix it. This is the most disappointing feeling ever. This money was intended as a gift, but all I did was repair my unreliable heating system.
