I feel like I am about to take on the national debt.
I just found out that I was going to need to shell out thousands of dollars for a complete heating and air conditioning system.
I knew that it wasn’t going to be long before I had to have a new air conditioning unit, so I had been saving. I called the HvAC company earlier in the summer because I was having some difficulties with my air conditioning. The AC unit seemed to be running all of the time and there was a small amount of cool air coming from the air vents. When the HVAC technician arrived, he told me that I should just put up with the air conditioner for the rest of the summer because I was going to need a new air conditioning unit before the next summer. I started saving my money immediately, but it wasn’t going to be enough when summer finally got there. During the winter, I started having some problems with my furnace. The furnace began to make a horrible racket and I didn’t have very much heat. I had to turn up the thermostat so that I could get enough heat to keep the house comfortable. I felt like I was caught in a Ground Hog’s Day scenario. It was deja vu when I called the HVAC company. They told me that I shouldn’t even have repairs made to the furnace and I should save my money and have the furnace replaced. I know that I am going to need to go into debt for the new HVAC system, but I’m sure I will also be saving money since the HVAC system will be more energy efficient.
