There certainly are ups and downs when it comes to living in the city.
I love the city mostly because everything I want or need is closeby.
I can easily walk to get groceries or even have them delivered if I don’t feel like walking. I can go right around the corner to get a good haircut and there are great places to eat all over the place. The downside though is the fact that the air quality in the city is so bad. There is so much pollution, it is honestly kind of scary. The city water is absolutely horrible, so I always drink spring water. While my apartment is relatively cozy, I don’t have the best HVAC system around. I wish I had better air quality in my home, but I guess it’s not so easy. I am considering getting a couple of nice air purifiers, but I can’t really afford those just yet. Even though I have these problems with my HVAC, and the air quality in the city is not the best, the nightlife is absolutely amazing. The city is so alive with all kinds of amazing events going on and all kinds of people from different walks of life. People have told me about living in the country with the wonderful air quality out there. While it does seem nice and I might enjoy visiting, I think that the city is what is for me. I actually can’t imagine living in the country being so far away from other people, but I guess it might be nice to have some peace and quiet for a change.
