I know it’s not their fault that people got sick
My loft has a bat problem, and i know bats can carry all kinds of viruses so this worries myself and others a lot. I called up a pest control business & they informed myself and others that bats are protected & they cannot simply be killed, the pest control business said they would have to unaffix the bats instead. I told them to go ahead & get started with that however it’s taking forever… Now, to make matters worse, some of the bats have moved into our Heating & Air Conditioning HVAC duct. Guano from our ventilation method & it smells terrible too. I’m about to just move out of this loft & let the bats have it, at this point. I know that bats are believed to be the source of this virus going around right now. I know it was a bat from another country however if a single bat could get covid19, wouldn’t it make sense that other bats could get it as well & spread it? Instead of giving up on our home, I called out a better pest control business & they have almost relocated all of the bats already. I have also called up an Heating & Air Conditioning business to come out & disinfect the HVAC duct for me. Then I’m going to have the entire attic professionally cleaned, but don’t get myself and others wrong, I do not wish the bats any real harm. I know it’s not their fault that people got sick. I just do not want them in our HVAC duct making myself and others sick. They can go live out their bat lives in a cave or something far away.
