The basic parts of an a/c.

Most people have an HVAC equipment of some kind in their home and usually 1 of those HVAC units is an a/c.

There are many main types of a/cs which are the central air a/c, ductless a/c, window a/c, portable a/c, hybrid a/c, and geothermal cooling.

Most of these a/cs have the same basic structure and parts which are pressing to know. This article will name some of the parts and tell what their area is in the a/c. First, most a/cs have a drain line. The drain line runs from within the inside of the a/c to the outside. This line takes the water that your a/c collects and drains it outside! Next there is the condenser. The condenser in your a/c takes the coolant and condenses it into a liquid. Another area of your a/c is it’s filter which, as you could actually guess, filters out pollutants that your a/c has collected. The air filter will need to be changed about every 3 weeks to ensure your air is clean, lastly, there is the drain pan. The drain pan collects water that falls from the condenser coils in your a/c. While these were shallow explanations of only a few of the many parts in an a/c, it would help you a lot to suppose these basic parts of your a/c so you can understand a little bit how it works. It is still best to have an HVAC specialist substitute all the internal parts of your a/c, however knowing what the problem is before she arrives can be helpful.
