The internet is filled with questions about HVAC units which seem to happen to anyone who has owned an a/c or oil furnace for any phase of time.

Many times when something is wrong with your a/c, you don’t even need to call an HVAC specialist because you can look up the problem on the internet and fix your HVAC equipment yourself.

One regular problem people run into with their HVAC equipment is that it is cold up and not laboring. While there could be a lot of reasons for your a/c cold up, oftentimes it’s because your a/c is out of coolant and or the fan is not laboring properly. Another commonly asked question is why is my a/c leaking water? Usually Your a/c will leak water when the drain tubes inside are jammed with dirt, dust, or other debris. If your a/c is not blowing cool air, or is blowing sizzling air, you may have a jammed air condenser or, it could be that your a/c has a problem with it’s refrigerant or coolant which in that case, you should contact a professional HVAC specialist to fix it. One last regular problem that people have with their a/cs is that it is making loud rattling noises or clicking and this is usually a result of a dirty fan or maybe something is lodged in the fan. Most of these a/c problems can be fixed on your own, however with a few of them you may want to contact your HVAC serviceman to fix it for you.
