During the summer I absolutely prefer to do my grocery shopping late at night.
We have this 24 hour a day grocery store in town that is perfect for this.
It is the best time to shop because most people are sleeping and it is so easy to move around the store without the mobs of crowds. The other great thing about it is that their central air conditioning system really flows well with minimal people in there. Also the fact that they have HVAC zone control in the place makes it even better. They originally did not have HVAC zone control. But because of how crowded it gets in the normal hours and with the doors always opening and closing, this lets the super hot or super cold outside temperatures in the store. With having HVAC zone control, they can get a better handle on this and have perfect temperature control even with all the different air coming in and out of the store making it kind of uneven in sections. At night, the HVAC zone control really works great. The entire store is the same temperature. Not too hot and not too cold, it is always just right. Even in the frozen food section where it sometimes gets a little too cold even in the summer. Everything is just so perfect with the HVAC zone control that they have in this twenty four hour grocery store here in my local town. It is a commercial zone controlled heating and air conditioning system too. This makes the big difference!
