Just before my meeting, the air conditioning quit.
I really was dreading going to a work meeting.
I hate work meetings so much because they are usually really long and boring. All of my coworkers say the same thing, so I am not the only one. This last work meeting was by far the absolute worst work meeting yet. It was because there was no air conditioning. I don’t like the heat as it is, but not having air conditioning inside of a building is absolutely miserable. The person doing the meeting decided to act as if there was air conditioning and still make the meeting three hours long. It was so hot in that room. Everyone in the room was sweating and fanning themselves. Some people were actually sighing aloud to try and get the man’s attention who was speaking. One person left the room because she thought that she was going to pass out from a heat stroke. I have no idea how the man that was speaking was able to continue without air conditioning. It was over ninety degrees in the room, and it was so stuffy. It was just our luck that the air conditioner quit only an hour before the meeting was supposed to start. This last meeting without air conditioning made every other boring meeting seem like heaven. We are all so scared to go to our next meeting in a month because we are afraid of the air conditioning quitting again. What are the odds that the air conditioner will quit again? They are probably quite small, but with our luck, the air conditioner will probably quit again.
