It has been awhile since I have had air conditioning.
I used to have air conditioning when I was a child living at home, but ever since I have been out on my own, I have not had air conditioning. I have lived in three apartments, and now, I own my very first home, and none of the apartments or my house has had air conditioning. The apartments were a lot worse than my house because they got so hot without air conditioning. My house stays pretty cool because it is in the shade. I use fans in the house, and it keeps my house pretty comfortable. The apartments that I lived in were all quite miserable during the summer months. I used to take trips across the country just to get away from my hot house. I wish that I would have invested in a window air conditioning unit when I moved into my first apartment. I definitely had the money, but I just didn’t think that it would be worth the money. I don’t really know what I was thinking. It would have totally been worth every penny to have air conditioning. I am sure that I would have gotten much more rest, and I would not have dreaded going home every day after work. I was young, and I guess I didn’t appreciate air conditioning like I should have. My house doesn’t need air conditioning, but it would still be nice to have it. I have gone so long without air conditioning that I am not sure if I will ever have air conditioning again.
