Both of us made sure that the current programmable thermostat was compatible with our RV air conditioner. Both of us decided to go to an RV dealership to find the perfect thermostat. They had multiple models available and both of us found a programmable thermostat that would labor well with our Dometic AC unit. A neighbor of mine installed the thermostat last Friday, then so far, I think the current thermostat is lovely. It’s easy to see the indoor temperature and I can change the settings from the other side of the room with a small remote control that came with the thermostat. I think the programmable thermostat is the first update of multiple to come in the next year or several. I’m ready to turn this location into our dream getaway home.
