Well kids will be kids no matter what we do as parents! One thing kids appreciate to do is complain about everything! However, my kids were consistently complaining about the central heating & air conditioning machine in their rooms.
They would say that the air vents were not giving them the heating or cooling that they needed to recognize indoor comfort… Not in those exact words, however you know what I mean! Me & wifey discussed it & we had thought about investing in Heating & Air Conditioning zone control at first.
But after we had a certified heating & air conditioning specialist from the local heating & cooling company come out to inspect things, we found that there was nothing wrong with the air flow in our home. It was just the kids being complainers because it’s what kids do; So to shut them up, we ended up going out & buying each of them a portable space furnace for the Winter time & a portable air conditioning machine for the summer time that they can run as they appreciate in their kitchens. They will soon see that they will recognize too warm or too chilly once they run the portable space furnace or the portable air conditioning machine while the central heat & cooling system machine is running at normal blast through the air vents! We figure this will either make them cheerful or make them realise there was nothing wrong with the temperature control in the house! So far there has been no more complaints.
