My memory seems to be about as bad as it has ever been.
And that’s saying something because my memory has never been good.
I have a good shot at remembering some random sports trivia. But ask me what I had for lunch the day before and I may for sure draw a blank. I do definitely remember how much I love and need HVAC comfort. So, it seems like I could remember to keep up with the HVAC chores I am responsible for. But that just isn’t the case. In our home, the HVAC is on my list. And really, that is a good deal given some of the stuff on the list. My wife takes care of far more of her share than is fair. That means I should at least be able to get the HVAC stuff done. I think I solved one key element on the HVAC. I called the HVAC office and signed us up for the HVAC maintenance program. Now, they set two appointments a year to service the HVAC and I only have to confirm or decline online. This means that I no longer will forget the HVAC appointments that I have set. This has cost me far too much money in missed HVAC service calls. Now, if I could only remember to change the HVAC air filters I might be golden. However, this has proved harder than it appears. I just can’t seem to remember to change the filters on a monthly basis. It stays on the list, I just have to make sure that I am getting it done. The HVAC and my wife deserve that much.
