My partner & I both had successful jobs & we were ready to slow down a bit, however not officially retire.
The two of us were ready to start a brand current chapter of our life together, & that included relocating. The two of us both love meeting people, so our partner & I thought that we would care about running a bed & supper. The two of us wanted an old, charming building just outside of a big city, preferably in the south. The two of us didn’t mind renovating. The two of us found about 10 locations that caught our interest, & honestly travelled to look at more than three of them, which was fun, & we finally found an aged many story current home outside a popular southern city. The two of us were glad. It had twelve big dining rooms, 10 bathrooms & a immense family room & kitchen. But, it was in desperate need of a current Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system. The current home still used steam radiators & had no a/c in most of it. A few rooms had window air conditioners, which we thought were tacky. So, we did a little research. The two of us absolutely needed zone controlled heating & cooling, however we had no ductwork. That’s when we discovered the ductless mini-cut a/c & oil furnace. The two of us have the family room, kitchen, den & family room all on one mini-cut plan & separate ones for each dining room, but considering the size of the house, the ductless mini-splits weren’t as high-priced as they could have been & they were self-explanatory to install. The ductless mini-cut a/c & oil furnaces are energy efficient & save us money in the long run. They were a good option for us.
