When I think of going to buy a new thermostat I am not as picky as many other people are.
- I could care less if it is an old dial thermostat, a digital thermostat or even a brand new top of the line smart thermostat.
As long as the thermostat works is all I care about. If it gets the job done in making my central heating and air conditioning system work that is all that matters. Since I do not go out very often these days due to the crazy stuff going on in the world, I do not have to worry about saving money on energy because regardless if I had a smart thermostat or not, I would be using the central heating and air conditioning system just the same.I find myself using the central heating and air conditioning system a lot lately because the weather has been just as crazy as the world has been. In the winter it had been unusually cold out and I have had the heater on all the time. And then in the summer the air conditioning was cranked nearly every single day because of how bad the heat was. And I have an old dial thermostat. It just does me fine in running my central heating and air conditioning system. It has no difference or bearing on what kind of thermostat I have, it all works out the same. Many people I know don’t get my theory and are all hung up on having the latest and greatest in heating and air conditioning technology.
